Light Brigade!

Just a few pictures of the current project, Crimean War British Light Brigade cavalry. 8th Hussars and 4th Light Dragoons in the first picture, 11th Hussars front and  rear views in the next two, 17th Lancers, half the number I hope to complete, come next, and finally four troopers from the 13th Light Dragoons. All are HELMET figures an a variety of horses. More soon with some WIP photos.

"There my Lord, there is your enemy and there are your guns!"

Cheers

these are fantastic figures and they capture the period well. The 11th Hussars are my favourite. You should do Lord Cardigan - use Trevor Howards character fron the film.
great work and a pleasure to view

Dave,

Thanks, Cardigan/Howard is on the to-do list, just need a few more cherry bums first!

what do you use to create the cap-lines?

Dave,

It's thin copper wire that can be easily bent. Then once in place I bulk it up with thick paint.
